| Process: | 1. Organise participants in small groups of 3-4. Depending on the number of key variables the groups can either work with all variables or just with half of them. 2. Ask groups to discuss each key variable separately: How has this variable developed over time? Can you for example identify major turning points, stagnation, intensification, decrease? Ask the groups to draw on A4 papers a behavior over time graph for each of the variables. Remind them to label the axes. It should take about 10 min. for each variable. Ask groups to display their graphs on the walls. If several groups have worked with the same variables (likely), they should be displayed in one column. 3. Discuss the results of the group work with the participants:
