| Purpose: |

| Participants: | 2 to many. Can be difficult with over 25-30 participants. |
| Time: | Can be very quick, even 5 minutes; or longer if needed. |
| Materials: |

| Process: | I) Write the word “peacebuilding” in capital letters on the flip chart. II) Ask to participants what ideas come up to their minds related to the word. Stimulate participation, quantity is more important than quality. Write all emerging ideas on the flip chart. If necessary use more papers and tie written papers on the wall in order to be visible to everybody. III) Find connections between ideas expressed and visualise them by connecting these with a marker of different colour on the flip-chart. Ask questions, aiming to deepen your investigation of participants ideas and understanding of peacebuilding for example:
