| Process: | I) Before the workshop, divide the content you would like to introduce to participants in small chunks. Each chunk should provide for a short presentation, no longer that 5 minutes. II) Divide the plenary into small teams of 5-6 people. Allow them to sit close to each other and have a working space. Explain that you are going to introduce new content, you will divide your presentation in a few chunks and you will ask participants to generate questions and provide answers to these. III) Present the first chunk of content, using visual aids or handouts to help participants follow you. Try to contain each content introduction to a maximum of 5 minutes. IV) Ask each team to generate a list of three questions related to the first chunk of information and further exploring it. Ask them to write them down on a paper. Allow 3-5 minutes for this process. V) Ask the first team to read one question to the rest of the plenary. Other groups have to answer. Repeat the process with other teams. Then repeat the process with second and third questions. VI) Repeat the process at steps III to V with the other chunks of content. |
