| Time: | About 40 minutes. The actual length depends on the size of the group, complicacy of the content and the flow of the discussion. |

| Process: | I) Before the workshop prepare a handout with a lecture on the content you want to introduce. II) Divide the plenary in two teams; one team is called “Questions” and the other one “Answers”. Allow them to sit in opposite parts of the room. III) Distribute the handout to all participants in the teams. Allow sufficient time for reading. IV) Assign the tasks: team “Questions” will have to generate a list of questions on the content introduced in the handout. These can be questions of clarification, exploring dilemmas and problems, asking for examples, or simply checking out that the content presented in the handout has been learnt. Team “Answers”’ task is to learn and digest the content in the handout, preparing to be questioned on it. Allow sufficient time for both teams to prepare. V) Stop preparation and tell the team “Questions” to ask their questions to the other team, who has to answer. Intervene whenever you find it appropriate to boost the discussion. |
