Introduction
Conventional wisdom (and research) says that good communication can improve relationships, increasing intimacy, trust and support. The converse is also true: poor communication can weaken bonds, creating mistrust and even contempt! This section discusses different Communication Tools that are utilised in peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation. The tools used depend on the kind of organisation, as well as the target audience. In the case of conflict transformation, this depends on organisational outputs as well as relations with the media. Put differently, both horizontal and vertical relations with others determine the kind of tools to utilise in the art of conflict transformation.
